Was thinking I had lost complete access to my blog --El Blogo--- , but Was wrong! thankfully...!! , I just want to input a post but will use one that I left as a draft in 2015, never published!! and never finished!! it was about a review of the book iLeadership by Jay Elliot; I bought this book in a weekend while working in the Ericsson Full Stack project in Guatemala, this might be in the year 2015, and wrote this from the balcony in the hotel Barcelo on a Saturday night. I will not finish this post because I think it conveys a very good message throughly already. Enjoy!! and Thank You!!.

Came across, Jay Elliot's book about Steve Jobs way, it seemed to me an interesting book specially as another leadership book ; remember when around 1992 (during a Summer in Tecnológico de Monterrey - ITESM Library) read about about the first Steve Jobs biography (his last creation had been Next and think was in Pixar at that time) and the most remarkable phrase was something like : 'Try to find what is your Passion, and try that your work is your Passion 'cause you will dedicate most of your life to that ' . how a wise advice it was ! and wrongly I never took it seriously! And of course this was long before the connecting the dots story and all the digital revolution story. By the way after Passion, what sets the difference between accomplishment and failure of a Goal, is Perseverance.
All over the book, the word 'Product' means services & products, so all concepts and ideas should be looked to be extrapolated to Solutions, Services, Customers for a typical company in the ICT Sector.
I might interpret certain things of the book's content as focused on Solutions ""Sales"" & Delivery based on my particular experience.
Try to make that colleagues, team workers and managers find 'exciting' and rewarding working with you.

Passion
Its focus on making the organizations shift with you, it means, not only focus on the products but people, teams, organization itself and the 'innovation engine' to connect your services and solutions with your targeted customers.
"Lisa would have been such a breakthrough that it will make a dent in the universe", this is related in the context that don't expect others to work with enthusiasm (Passion & commitment) unless oneself do the job with enthusiasm and let everyone know it, this goes altogether with a great attention to astonishing deep details in all aspects covering a product/solution development, marketing, organization, technical built, sales, teamwork,
Great work in Solutions on the technical aspect and comply with Customer's expectations and set a reference in the marketplace can only be achieved when the teams are passionate and in order to achieved this each individual has to be passionate about his/her work, all these is related be a "visionary".
Task of Leaders is to pass on the Passion to team members and further to organizations involved or not directly to leader's main responsibility; living every details of the work being done, either presenting to customer, building a solution, leading teams, delivery/roll out of the Solution, doing the finest and best in detail for each of this activities. while there are some orthodox aspects of leading by passion, but a Leader needs to 'feel' the personal aspect on the specific situation to avoid the risk causing 'structural harm' (here Cultural knowledge come into place).

Details
It suggests that the key is to go into details to design solutions having in mind the users, of course this is a very detail-oriented approach in many aspects and this requires great amount of extra work and time. as in three levels, go from vision, Solution Vision (how it is going to work, how will people use this - User Experience & Simplicity).
When attention to details it refers to the details on Everything that can be part of a Corporate life.
Basically at the creation level, it is about leadership involved into Details, any detail. products have to be intuitive and an emotional attachment to it, all deadlines could continuously be passed until it was what was expected. To achieve this, also is important to recall past experiences at key times.
When you believe in your 'product' and your people, your people will stick with you (charisma) . in this sense is valid to congratulate people even if they are far in the line. in this sense learning for mistakes is crucial for future success.

Teaming
It talks about every leader and manager have their people working/supporting together, pulling in the same direction, get the feeling that we are all in this together, at Apple there were three days retreats.
let the teams work free of usual restrictions, under the right circumstances, pirates can achieve what navy can not. it shouldn't be allowed for a group to be larger than 100 people , avoid large organization: An approach of small-team thinking with as product/solution-orientation. & Every employee counts. in a small team, close relationships are created and these causes Accountability and makes the individual be committed with the rest of the team. The challenge is to keep people as if it was their solution/product or company. Make your business meeting a total experience.
one-by-one a team leader of each area, software, finance, etc, would present a brief status and timeline explaining where they were in the schedule and explain the problems they were facing, everybody was allowed to offer ideas o solutions.
The leader was surrounded by people like him, who shared his philosophy and was able to bring up the best of the people, open discussion was encouraged .
Be open to ideas coming from well informed people and that make sense, be a listener. The lead held a very close contact with team's overall work with a lot of details
