During my 30+ years old of life have read several books about wealth creation, however with the experience I have gained during my professional life, all my successes and failures, I have come to my own personal conclusions about entrepreneurship; I am not going to talk about the Steve Jobs and Bill Gates Stories as those are closer to Fairy Tales and "weird situations"; for example, read Job's auto-biography (in the summer of 1993 at the ITESM Library) just when he was just thinking about creating NExt Co. and Pixar, in that book he talked a lot about his life of excess ( condensed on his famous "drop out.." phrase) and at the same time a sucessful life as a businessman ¿?.
The same goes for Gate's story. Anyways in both cases, it seems rare to me that both had a helper, Wozniak for Jobs and Allen for Gates, why we have never heard how life would it be nowdays if both helpers would have got all the attention from the media?
Could continue for hours talking about many other 'sucess stories', However the real stories about success in business are those I have met first-hand,
remember very well in my last year at the ITESM when I was taught by one of those Zambrano Dinasty (when Cemex was still a family business). it was the Year of "Error of December" and the country had literraly 'collapsed', the professor almost started to cry at how he had become from a businessman graduated from Stanford to a person who had nearly to nothing, all he had were his experiences about his endless business failures and a couple success, it was really a touchy story, learned a lot during that semester!
As this story , during my life have collected many of them which I keep for myself.
And as a personal reflect from all those success stories (where those 'helpers' as those in the 'Fairy Tales' dont really exist) . I hereby,
Today I declare my version of The Entrepreneurs's Code of Conduct:
1.-An entrepreneur is not allowed to get Depressed.
2.-An entrepreneur is not allowed to feel sick.
3.-An entrepreneur is someone who cares about his people and then about himself
4.-An entrepreneur never shows for tireness or borenes,
5.-An entrepreneur always look after his health as a priority!
6.-Of course , An entrepreneur never cheats!
7.-Un emprendedor no se raja!
8.-An entrepreneur is concious (in all senses)
9.-An entrepreneur is someone who continuosly inspires people
10.-An entrepreneur is an example that can be followed.
