As a professional lived the crisis of Y2001 (dotcom bubble), but this one in Y2009 is different as the globalisation has expanded and has brought new variables to the game; the rules of the game have dramatically changed now.
Now, I believe that on the positive side of this kind of crisis (Y2009), is that we are going to witness the born of new companies with innovative business models: the brightest people of each country or region will be pushed to develop disruptive services and products that will change the landscape of several industries, ranging from those related to technology to those considered classical as Agriculture. On this regard, current times seem interesting. And here is when the finest professionals in the world will make the difference for their countries.
A couple days ago I was in shock as I saw this advert on a magazine, there are three things that altogether are disturbing, 1) the model: Mikhael Gorbachov 2)The backround: the Berling Wall 3)The Advertiser: Louis Voitton.
WTF! one of these three elements makes the advert disturbing.
