Only a couple people know what October (or when Autumn starts) mean to me, the start of the season is magic to me as it has always has brought important experiences to my life, now want to share here in my blog a recap of my last ten years:
October 1999, Assigned to a project in Mexico where I met key people and got a job in England.
October 2000, Travel to Mexico to get married.
October 2001, Leave England to live in Barcelona
October 2002, Went back to Mexico
October 2003, after a very though period in Mexico I finally get two job offers the same day! and finally manage to get a soft career change
October 2004, First opportunities to go back to Europe arise, prefer to await until Alexia is born in December.
October 2005, Come back to work in Europe (this time in Spain).
October 2006, Some opportunities around, skip all, was a good year, prefer to stay.
October 2007, finish sucessfuly a Short Term Assignment in Sudan; pretty good year. Prefer to stay.
October 2008, almost sucessful in getting my dream job! curious about staying in a company for more than three years.
October 2009. a lot of hardwork, a lot of study, a lot of opportunities seeked, nothing really exciting happened this October, morever profitability becomes loss; it has been a tough year, lets carry on the hardwork and wait for the next October. I am optimistic.
Indeed Year 2009 has been a though year but still better than 2003; to the tough times, optimism, hardwork, FAITH and creativity are key.
