In Year 2000 I read a book about Social Networking, (Personal Networking: How to Make Your Connections Count) written by Mike Cope who was a Governor of Bank of England, so I guess this chap had something useful to tell; the book was easy to read and understand; the way he wrote it was pretty straightforward and seemed more like a Guide for Networking, about the different circles, the different type of networking, and more importantly, how to maintain such a relationships. Afterwards I have read this book several times (dont have it with me now in Spain). Networking requires a lot of not only "personal touch" but also a lot of time, a lot effort in connecting with the right people, and the must important is the way of maintaining the network which is a way great deal of work.
I believe the Sucessfull and Efficient Networking requires some degree of "intelligence", to focus on dedicating time, effort to create and maintain such a relationships, therefore
I propose the use of "Selective Social Networking" ©, which is more a Guidline for Effective and Efficient ways to Networking. If you are reading this blog, more likely is that you are my friend, so you can drop me an email and will tell you how it works (of course, the degree of sucess is still dependant on the effort and a at least the right mindset bundled with an open personality).
Good night.
